BBQ Tips:

These rubs area more flavorful than typical, so use sparingly until you find that amount that suits your taste.
Try rubbing you meat down with a light and unflavored oil prior to rub application that helps it adhere to the meat surface.
Apply rubs 3 to 12 hours prior to smoking. They are also excellent for just grilling, put them on a couple of hours ahead and let the flavor get sucked into the meat
Smoking rule of thumb is about an hour per pound of meat.  - Enjoy!
